the best baby/toddler blankets
It’s chilly out and so we can’t stop thinking about cozy, warm blankets to use to snuggle with our little ones. This got us thinking about our personal blanket favorites. With so many baby/toddler blanket options out there, it’s hard for mommas to know which ones to select. At one point we were considering a custom photo blanket, but now we’ve narrowed the list down to just four of our top choices and hope it helps you find the perfect blanket(s) if you happen to be in the market!
Stay warm this Saturday, everyone!

I love Berkshire Blankets. They are great quality and last forever. I got the Think Mink Blanket when I got married 5 years ago and I am using it for my toddler now. He has grown out of all the baby blankets and I needed something cozy and warm to put into his toddler bed.
The blanket is not pilly and still looks brand new after washing it over and over again in my washer. Ayven loves the blanket, we actually keep one on our sofa too for family movie night, as it’s big enough for all of us to share!
I adore this blanket and so does Laila. My best friend from New York mailed it to us when Laila was born. It is just so soft, snuggly and more than just for the stroller or car seat. It’s a great naptime blanket and large enough, (30” x 40”), to lay out on carpet to have her play on. It’s made of chamois plus it’s non-pilling and hypoallergenic.
You can even personalize it for an extra 7 bucks. The quality is superb…I’ve washed it a ton and it still looks new! It comes in a variety of nice colors and is not too expensive either.

My son Jai always runs on the hotter side, so even from a younger age he preferred to be blanket free. But when he was just an infant, we had to swaddle him during feedings to keep him contained and so we could easily hold him at the right angle. This swaddle blanket by Aden and Anais was perfect for this. Plus it’s made of super lightweight, breathable cotton so he stayed cool and comfortable too.
It’s the perfect size to swaddle with too. And since we have long passed the swaddling stages, we use these blankets when we take him out on walks when the weather is not too cool to lightly cover his legs. They have been through the wash hundreds of times, but still remain vibrant and colorful and almost like brand new. They come in pack of four and run less than forty dollars.
My kid’s favorite going to bed blanket is the Disney store fleece throw blanket. I bought these for my kids this year and they love this soft, comfy, snuggly and warm blanket. They sleep with it every night, plus they love that it has their favorite Disney characters on it and also their names.
This blanket is made out of fleece so it keeps them warm and also very easy to wash. I love that the blanket is very long and wide so they can use it even when they get older.
