My sister-in-law Nisha is having her second baby and she wanted to surprise our family with the gender announcement. My sister-in-law is very creative and loves doing things like this!
So she sent us a card with “He or She what will it be”? Written on it and when you open it she has two balloons in there. One is pink and one is blue, and in there are directions “blow them up and will see! Blow up the balloons and you will see… the one that inflates, is what it will be”!!
When we received this card the first thing my sister-in-law told us to do was Facetime which we did and we then asked out kids what they thought Foi (aunt) was having. My son and younger daughter said “boy” and my older daughter said “girl”. My daughter and son blew up the pink and blue balloons at the same time and the blue balloon inflated and the pink would deflate every time she blew in it. So can you guess what they are having?
Here is what you will need:
1 Pink and 1 blue balloon
A homemade card or store-bought blank card
Markers or Crayons
What to do:
- First decorate your card and in the front of the card you can write “He or She” What will it be?
- Inside the card write, “Blow them up and you will see! “ “Blow up the balloons, and you will see… the one that inflates, is what it will be! “
- The balloon color that you are not having (blue for boy and pink for girl) pokes tiny holes in it with the pin. So once they blow in it will not inflate.
There you have it! What a cute little idea! My kids were so excited to do this and we were so anxious! We are very happy to be having a little boy arriving soon!
