During one of Nordstrom’s last big sales, I finally took a leap of faith and purchased the Foreo LunaMini 2, a skin cleaning tool that I had been eyeing for awhile. I got a pretty good deal on it but still wasn’t convinced that it could replace the Clarisonic that I was obsessed with for many years. But the idea of not having to replace bristle heads ever again – well, that in itself was enough to capture my attention.
While I’ve had it for a few months now – three to be exact, I only took it out of the box about three weeks ago. I don’t know what took me so long – but I am loving it so far. If you’re looking for a gift to give someone, definitely look into the Foreo Luna Mini 2. It’s great for girls and guys plus umm…yourself, too! Can we say Valentine’s Day – ain’t nothing wrong with some self skincare -LOVE!

How’s it so effective at cleansing?
This device channels T-sonic pulsations, 8000 per minute to be completely specific…for deep yet gentle cleansing that dislodges all the impurities off your face. There’s also 8 adjustable pulsation intensities to take care of your exact needs. Slow for gentle and faster for a deep, powerful clean. And compared to the last version, the brush head is now 50% bigger so that it’s just that much more efficient with cleansing in the same minute that you’d spend doing a regular clean.
How do you use it?
So it comes with a USB charger and a small guide that has to easy to follow directions. There are plenty of you tube videos and tutorials out there and more info on their website but really it’s pretty straight forward. The Foreo Luna Mini 2 basically gives you one minute to cleanse by dividing the time into 15 second intervals. Basically divide your face into 4 sections: left cheek, right cheek, nose/chin, and forehead. It gives you 15 seconds on each section and alerts you by pulsing differently than normal, meaning it’s time to move on to the next part of your face. Pretty slick for sure.
I have to say, I like it a lot. Even after using the Foreo Luna Mini 2 for only about 3 weeks with my DHC oil cleanser, I feel like my skin has improved. It’s softer, smoother and overall looks brighter. There’s no tight feeling after using this and I also feel like products like my rose oil and Nuxe serums are just sinking and literally melting into my face. While I will always still hold all the years spent with my beloved Clarisonic close to my heart (LOL), I’m welcoming this new skincare tool into my life with an open heart too!
