After all the baby registry gifts and gifts you have gotten from loved ones, your husband or significant other must be wondering now what do I possibly have to buy her? Well dad’s to be, it’s called a Push Present. It’s something you give your loved one after pushing the baby out and NO that does not exclude women that have a c-section. The gift does not have to be lavish jewelry but hey if it is, who is complaining 🙂 Generally the gift is given after the baby is born but it is very normal to give your loved one the gift before the baby is about to come out to show your token of appreciation.
Check out these unique push gifts ranging from free (well free meaning dad’s you providing your time to help) to fancy jewelry
A coupon book filled with things you will do to give mommy a break. You can include coupons such as give her a break for a night feeding, offer to watch the baby for the day while mommy goes to workout, make a meal for mommy or give mommy a night out with her girlfriends. This all might sound silly in a coupon book but I promise after that baby comes out..mommy is gonna need a minute.
What woman does not like jewelry? So you can’t go wrong with this. It’s very simple but elegant and will always remind you of the bond you have with your child.
Personal Training sessions
Mommas you may think it sounds insulting but you will get to a point when you want your body back and what better than to have someone motivate you to do it. It will be something to look forward to when you have 2 months to get into a hot dress for a friends party :). Dad’s be careful with this one, with all the hormones going nuts mommas may take this the wrong way!
You can start with the month you got married, then add a stone for each child. It’s a great way to always hold a memory of each special moment you have had in your life. Let’s hope your children have color coordinating birthstones or you may have a rainbow ring 🙂
The food you couldn’t have
Sushi and Wine…two things women cannot have (well should not have) during pregnancy. Make a list of foods your significant other could not have during pregnancy due to diet restrictions, heart burn or just for being preggo and make her a big basket of those foods. Get the fanciest sushi you can find and let her go at it!
Like I said push presents don’t have to be luxurious but I know mommas won’t mind if it is! What are some other push presents you have gotten?
