Every time we go to a birthday party we always end up getting the same favors such as, candy, stickers, pencils, and bouncy balls. The little cluttery things that eventually gets tossed in the trash.
So this year for my son’s birthday party I thought I do a little something different and useful for the parents and kids. And still on the inexpensive side. After awhile, even if its the clutter, non-trinket little things, it adds up and you end up spending more than what you budgeted! My son this year was very much into Toy Story, so I based the theme on that. I decided to buy favors that would be useful for the kids. I wanted to get things that can be used on a day to day basis. So here are some suggestions I have:

Enjoy planning your birthday party event!!! 🙂

I too just did a Toy Story themed birthday party for my 2 year old daughter. I made goodie bags with all Toy Story stuff. On the go pre-packaged packet with coloring book, crayons and stickers (great for restaurants), a plate, stamper, mini notepad and more stickers. These only cost about $2 each and I this is all stuff I use on a regular basis, so I figured other families would enjoy them too.
Hello Heather,
Great idea for on the go pre-packaged goodie bags. And love that it was on a budget too. 🙂 Thank you for giving me more ideas on what to put in my goodie bags, will definitely add it to my list.
