Friendship is: Standing barefoot in your friend’s kitchen (ok we’re Indian…so we do this anyways lol). Making an effort to do life together…even when you’re miles apart. Holding each other’s babies and being there for each other’s kids without being asked. Grabbing an extra matcha latte with almond milk, light ice bc you know she could use one too. Built on grace and imperfection. Adorned with messy real conversations. The unfiltered. The raw. Without a question, taking her to the airport for a 7:30am flight. Sharing your heart, even the hard parts. No judgement. Over cups and cups of chai. Making time. Putting in the effort. Even when it feels inconvenient. Telling each other the hard truths. Because you love her. And want her to grow and shine. Getting out of comfy pjs because she needs a night out. Forgiveness. And a tight hug. Running errands together.
