mermaid and spiderman birthday party
My niece recently turned 1 and my sister in law did one amazing job with the party! It couldn’t be more perfect. She did a mermaid theme but even better she added a twist of spider man just so the boys would enjoy it also. It was the best idea and everyone had a great time. Check out the cool ideas, decorations and food below!
Decorations
This was by far my favorite part. All the little details made the tables look so fancy in a kid kinda of way. They used organza material which gave the tables a very elegant look. The dishes were plastic with seashell place mats. The Spiderman tables had huge spiders on them with coordinating table clothes. They set up a princess area where all the activities were set up.
Food
The food was amazing. For apps they did fresh fruit, veggie sticks, veggie trays and pretzels. The best part was that they hired someone to come in and make fresh pizzas for all the guests! Yum!!!
Activities
- Story time with the Ariel the Mermaid, Princess and Spiderman. All the kids sat around while they set up a fairytale setting and sat and read stories and had snacks
- Manis and Pedis: The girls got their hands and toes done by the princesses
- Dodgeball and other ball games: The boys got to go outside and play fun games like dodge ball with Spiderman
- Ariel the Mermaid sang some songs from the movie that the kids loved to sing along too
Birthday Cake
The cake was so pretty. There were cupcakes and a cake in the middle for the kids to enjoy. Each cupcake had a sea related topper in various colors and the cake had a mermaid on top.
Each child got a beach bucket that goes with the sea theme. The bucket was filled with snacks, sea toys and stickers. The unique sea colors for the buckets made the favors go perfect with the Mermaid Theme Party.
